These Furrows release their new single ‘No Invitation No Welcome’ through Underdogs Music. The track, along with b-side ‘3:16’, is lifted from their forthcoming debut album ‘Treasures’ (out Jun 2012). Hailing from Leicester, this four piece take in a spread of rock influences from hardcore to post-rock and punk, forming a sweet/saccharine collision of sound. Their last single ‘Duke’ earned them a slot on the BBC Introducing stage at last year’s Reading/Leeds Festival, praise from the likes of Q and The Line of Best Fit plus Channel 4’s 4Play programme, who are airing a documentary about the band on 7th March. Live they are an aural feast, with crashing, almost math-rock guitar styles set to screeching yelps and super tight drums. Details of more live shows to be announced soon.
